Leona is an author, educator, artist and actor who earned a BA in Secondary Ed, an MA (TESL) and a Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (CIDTT) UK. She has taught English to students and teachers in different parts of the world, including North America, Costa Rica, Oman and Kazakhstan. She is passionate about preserving and teaching the world’s common language to improve communication across the globe. She teaches the core elements that students need to acquire to form a solid foundation in English. She is known for her fun, engaging and personalized teaching style and skill at maintaining students’ motivation at any level or age.

Theatre is one of her greatest passions and she has worked on television and puppetry, for educational purposes and to help children at risk.
